Thank you for visiting
We have recently moved back to the UK after several years in France. It is so
good to be back on home ground. The move also simplifies the dispatch of
goods to you which means that you should get them more quickly after you
have placed your order.
Many ‘one of a kind’ handmade items are produced out of ‘Dot’s Workbox’
from art to sewing to craft. I do hope you enjoy perusing the pages and
perhaps while doing so, you might just find a unique gift for yourself, your
family, your friends or even a special occasion.
These products come with ‘no fuss’ prices. We’ve kept them as clear and
simple as possible for you.
If you have any queries or requests that you want to discuss, please email
your phone number and we will ring you back.
Please make sure you visit the ‘Sale’ section where you will be able to pick up
a bargain. If there is something in Dot’s Workbox that you really like but it is
the wrong size or colour, then do email me at dot@dotsworkbox.co.uk and I’ll
be happy to try and meet your needs. I’d also like to meet you at the Dot’s
Workbox Blog.

Dot’s Workbox
Some IMPORTANT information for all our visitors to know about.
Dot’s Workbox produces high quality creative handmade designs,
whether art, craft or needlework based.
The fabrics used can be new, vintage or recycled and be a mix of
different fibres. Before use they are always pre-washed together at
the same temperature thus ensuring that treatments are washed out,
no shrinkage will occur and no dyes will run. For garments, it is
perfectly safe to machine or hand wash most of the items at 30c. Dry
naturally and, if necessary, press with a warm iron but please read
the specific instructions for each item. Dot’s Batik work can form part
of a bag or be a picture in its own right. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO
WASH ANYTHING THAT IS BATIK BASED unless, in the case of
garments, the Care Instructions indicate otherwise.
I would also like to point out that due to the characteristics of many
digital cameras and the lighting behind your monitor screen, images
shown could be slightly different in colour to the actual product. The
colour red can be very difficult to control so in the case of severe
differences, I have included an approximate colour block of the
garment as seen under normal lighting conditions.
Enjoy browsing through this site and please take time to visit Dot’s
Workbox Blog.
